Green Steps Training
Green Steps Schools in an environmental education initiative that encourages individual schools in South Carolina to take annual sustainable steps towards becoming more environmentally responsible. Attend the training and learn about how your school can be a Green Steps School! Training will be held at the Environmental Discovery Center from 4:30 - 6:00 PM. Registration is required at least one week in advance. A minimum of 20 registrants are needed in order to hold the training. Call (843) 389-0550 or email tyoung@florenceco.org to register.

Great American Cleanup at Lynches River County Par
The Great American Cleanup is the largest organized annual cleanup, beautification, and community improvement program in the US. Join us on Saturday, April 10, to clean up Lynches River County Park. Volunteers should meet at the Environmental Discovery Center at 9:00 AM. For more information, call 843-389-0550. This is a rain or shine event.
