Guided Canoe Excursions
Join us Saturday, March 3, 2012 for a five-mile guided paddle along the Lynches Scenic River. Two trips will be offered during the day, with the first beginning at 10:00am and the second beginning at 2:00pm. The event is free, but space is limited to 14 participants per trip.

Canoes hold a maximum of two people; at least one participant in each boat must be 18 years or older. Children must be a minimum of 50 pounds and at least five years of age to participate in these trips.

These excursions are offered free of charge by the park to allow beginning paddlers a chance to get on the river with an experienced guide who can offer canoeing tips and instruction; discuss the history of the river; and, point out some specific features of the river.

Registration is required and will be accepted beginning February 15, 2012.
