Canoe and Kayak Rentals

Lynches River County Park offers canoes and kayaks for rent for those wishing to see our natural resources and wildlife on the Lynches Scenic River. Call Florence County Parks and Recreation at (843) 667-0920 to reserve a canoe or kayak for a 2-hour paddle from Lynches River County Park to the Hwy. 52 boat landing. Only two persons per canoe and one person in the boat must be eighteen years or older. The minimum weight is 40lbs and all children must be at least five years old.

A security deposit will be included at a rate of $50 per boat. All responsible person(s) must be able to provide a valid driver’s license and all must sign a rental agreement, which is to include a liability waiver. Boats and all equipment must be returned in good condition and on time to receive a refund of the security deposit.

Lynches River Park Project Completes Funding Effort

The intent is for the visitor to gain an understanding of the ecosystems in the park from the view of the worm in the ground, to the bird's eye view in the top of the trees.
