Environmental Discovery Center

The Environmental Discovery Center (EDC) features interactive exhibits, informative displays, and provides educational programming. The EDC and attached canopy walk is designed to bring visitors to the tree tops of the 676-acre park. Visitors to the center will gain an understanding of the ecosystems in the park from the view of the worm in the ground, to the bird's eye view in the top of the trees.

Hours of Operation
Tuesday-Saturday: 9AM - 5PM
Sunday: 1PM - 5PM

Did you know the care of the EDC animal ambassadors is entirely donation-funded? Pet store gift cards are always appreciated, or you can view our Amazon Wishlist.

The Benefactor Tree inside the EDC provides a unique opportunity to give a gift that lasts. Starting at $100, leaves can be engraved 'In Memory' of or 'In Honor' of a loved one, or as a gift to someone special. 

 

Business owners are invited to show their support by purchasing a special benefactor leaf starting at $1000 or by donating supplies.

All proceeds benefit the animal ambassadors and program needs of the EDC.
