2024 marks the 10th anniversary of the summer camp program at the Environmental Discovery Center at Lynches River County Park! Nestled in the heart of Florence County, our camps offer an unforgettable experience for kids from kindergarten through 5th grade.

At the Environmental Discovery Center, we believe in the power of nature to inspire, educate, and transform young minds. Our week-long summer camps are designed to provide children with hands-on learning experiences in the great outdoors, fostering a deep appreciation for the natural world.

SUMMER CAMP

Cost: 1 week of camp = $100; $25 discount for each additional camp (discount applies when registering the same child for multiple camps). Payment, in full, is due at the time of registration. Campers will receive one camp t-shirt and photo. Additional camp shirts may be purchased; see camp counselor or EDC staff member for more information. One snack and juice will be provided each day; however, campers will need to bring a lunch.

Schedule: All camps run Monday-Friday 9AM - 3PM

8:30AM - 9AM -- camper drop off

3PM - 3:30PM-- camper pick up

Campers not picked up by 3:30PM will be subject to late fees.

Please call to ensure space in preferred camp before sending in paperwork!

Registration: Please fill out the registration packet below in it's entirety then scan and email completed forms to the Environmental Discovery Center. Forms may also be dropped off in-person. Payment is due upon registration.

Cancellation and Refunds: Refunds will be issued if withdrawal from a camp is received at least one week (five working days) prior to the start of the camp. Failure to attend a camp without notification or cancellation will not result in a refund.
In the event that a camp is cancelled by the Environmental Discovery Center, a full refund will be issued. Refunds take approximately two weeks to process.
